Role

Laura combines the role of being a highly effective consultant with being our Office Manager. She provides advice and support mainly to our retainer clients who love her to bits (see what our clients say page).

Laura is highly experienced in dealing with the SRA and in particular ensuring that all new firm applications for authorisation are granted. She also provides expert assistance in resolving complaints and submitting strong Lexcel and SQM applications.

Laura trains our clients on how to use our professional grade cloud based compliance software which fully meets the requirements of the SRA Handbook.

Background

Laura previously worked for a regulatory body and her responsibilities include investigating complaints of inadequate professional service and professional misconduct.

She has also been an manager responsible for investigating and considering complaints coupled with implementing disciplinary procedures.

Laura has also been a specialist housing advisor providing specialist legal advice relating to housing, homelessness, accordance with the Housing Act 1996 as amended by the Homelessness Act 2002 and the Localism Act.
