On 13 June 2022, the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) opened a consultation on the introduction of proposed new fees for Immigration legal aid work. The consultation has been launched due to changes to immigration legal aid made by the introduction of the Nationality and Borders Act, as well as changes to the way immigration legal aid services are delivered as a result of HMCTS’ Reform Programme, i.e. the use of the Tribunal’s online appeal system MyHMCTS.
