Role and Background
Ronak is the Managing Director of Unimed Global, an organisation headquartered in Leicester, UK with offices in Mumbai, Shanghai, Abu Dhabi & Lusaka.
Unimed and its subsidiary companies have a 30 year history of working closely with governments across Africa & The Middle East with a core business focus on supplying a range of Healthcare products, medicines and Educational equipment.
These long-term partnerships have allowed Ronak to perform an advisory role to initiate and facilitate successful government-to-government and public-private-partnerships in areas outside of the core business, such as in The Defence, Agriculture and Tourism sectors.
In the UK, Ronak has co-founded and is a Director of Vets4U, a company that taps into Unimed’s expertise in supplying quality healthcare supplies with the aim to disrupt the inflated pricing structure of animal healthcare market and reduce costs for pet owners across the UK.
Vets4U is working closely with the British Ministry of Defence, supplying medicinal products for the animals serving in The British Army and has subsequently set up a charitable arm Vets4Vets, with the mission to support British Army Veterans pets with their healthcare needs. Vets4U has since received the Armed Services Covenant and is proud to count veterans on it’s staff.
Ronak and his Family’s charitable work is varied and includes setting up Hindu temples across the UK and India, multifaith community centres, organ donation clinics, and a school for orphans in India.
Personally, Ronak focusses on his efforts on increasing access to quality and affordable education for children, particularly girls and children with disabilities in India through The Anoopam Mission.
