As the EAT has stated when assessing disability discrimination claims, the Equality Act “demands an intense focus….on the words of the statute”.
In this free 1 hour webinar, Simon will help participants understand the underlying legal principles from case law and statutory guidance that comprise the ‘word by word’ definition of disability and the various types of claims that might be advanced in different situations. By better understanding the underlying principles, advisers can maximise their position when handling claims. This seminar would be of interest to advisers, HR practitioners and lawyers new to the field of disability discrimination.
