Content

There has been a steep rise in the number of homeless deaths during the COVID-19 pandemic at a time when the ‘Everyone In’ policy was in place to house rough sleepers.

In this free 1 hour webinar, Ciara Bartlam of Garden Court North Chambers and Gemma Vine of Ison Harrison Solicitors explore some of the issues from an Inquests and Homelessness perspective, focussing specifically on the root causes of homeless deaths in supported accommodation such as hostels and night shelters and provides guidance on some of the ways in which lawyers can help bereaved families and representatives navigate the Inquests process to ensure public scrutiny.

Target Audience

This webinar is aimed at legal practitioners and those working with them, with an assumed basic knowledge of the topic area.

Resources

The recording and slides were available for three months following the event.
