Chris has been with Charnwood Accountants since it commenced trading in 2004. Chris is a qualified accountant and business owner with a leadership role in 4 different business in different sectors. Chris utilises his experience as an accountant, advisor and business owner to offer valuable solutions to real world problems faced by business owners. In his career, Chris has significantly increased the wealth of his clients by offering a high degree of technical and commercial advice which is fundamentally derived from understanding his clients personal and financial aspirations to help them achieve their short- and long-term goals. Chris has a keen interest in succession planning and has personal experience in both buying and selling businesses having recently acquired a financial services business, undertaking their own MBO at Charnwood Accountants in 2017 and also selling the family run nursery business in 2020. Chris is married with 2 children, Megan and Alex. Outside of business, Chris is a keen runner, golfer and hockey player and general loves all things sporty, Chris hopes to complete his first ultra-marathon in 2021 following the completion of his first marathon in 2020.
