Role and Background
Richard has an LLB Honours degree from Cardiff University (class of 2011). He currently works as his firm’s Head of Residential Property and Senior Reporting Officer. He has spent considerable time improving his knowledge of the Conveyancing Protocol and CQS requirements.
In previous posts, Richard has worked in a national firm and a volume conveyancer as well as being a member of a legal team looking at compliance by a major insurance company.
He has utilised his expertise in driving change within his department and implementing best practice through successfully introducing new policies and operational changes to improve the efficiency and efficacy of the company.
As someone who is keen to embrace technological advancements in the profession, Richard is working alongside his firm’s CEO to produce workflows to streamline the property purchase process to maximise profit margins.
Richard has always enjoyed exchange of information with like-minded professionals. He has relished the opportunity to deliver training to fellow professionals at all levels on topics including anti- money laundering. This training and provision of expert advice has been well-received by participants.
